For the winter season, we decided to spread cheer
by making Cocoa in a Jar gifts for our parents. Not only was this a
wonderful gift to share with our families, we also got to learn a
lot!
Each student took turns learning how to follow the
directions and read the recipe from another classmate, and then that
student got to teach the next student. This activity allowed the
students to practice following and giving directions; working
collaboratively with each other; and reading and using measurements.
